CARBOXY METHYL CELLULOSE IN POWDER AND LIQUID FORM, WITH STABILIZING ACTION ON WINES’ TARTARIC COMPONENT.

 

Regulation (EC) No 606/2009 has introduced this new raw material in the oenological industry. The Carboxy Methyl Cellulose has been used for years in food industry because it is ecological, completely biodegradable and absolutely harmless to health.
In wine industry it finds its application to bring wines tartaric stability, improving an aspect if compared to the traditional metatartaric acid: it doesn’t lose effectiveness over time.
V CMC is a very pure product in powder.
V CMC L is its liquid form, in solution at 12.5%.
Both are the result of careful selection of raw materials only apparently similar, but with a different kind of reactivity on wine: our selections can be dosed even during the pre-bottling phase; the company s technical service is available to provide specific guidance for their proper use.
